„Get Involved, Get Inspired, Get Connected” was the motto of this year’s Meet The Heroes and we more than nailed it.

In beautiful weather and a relaxed atmosphere, the CRM community met at Birgit Berlin on June 28 to discuss and network about the growing importance of CRM. The most beautiful impressions and highlights can of course be found online.

Lessons Learned and What We Need to Do Now

The fact that the costs for new customer acquisition have skyrocketed in recent years should no longer be news. In addition, the new GDPR guidelines and restricted access to customers through the major platforms have created new hurdles on the way to good existing customer marketing.

But how can marketers still ensure that their core business continues to run? That was the central question discussed by our co-founder Dr. Markus Wuebben and the numerous guests on stage. And the path clearly points in one direction:

“We Need to Create More Value Through CRM!”

One approach to this is predictive CRM: companies can make predictions about customer behavior in the areas of sales, marketing, and service. The analysis of past customer behavior is used to strengthen customer loyalty in a targeted manner and to identify opportunities for cross-selling or up-selling in order to maximize customer lifetime value.

In this practical use case, you will learn, for example, how predicting newsletter unsubscribes helps to retain valuable customer relationships. But that was just the opening of the event. Besides pizza, drinks, and a great atmosphere, we also had several speakers live on stage during the Community Night. Among them were Alexander Graf (Spryker), Isabel Milbert (optilyz), Lisa Hütteroth and Jesse Dos Santos (Friendsurance) and Katharina Heßemer (optilyz). In addition to all the inspiring presentations, networking was of course not neglected. Our special act “The ZAP Show” provided an entertaining and truly unique show act.
